| Ray Reher has over 30 years of experience serving as Chief Financial Officer for emerging growth and middle-market businesses.
In his CFO role, Ray has been responsible for the full range of CFO duties, including managing all accounting department responsibilities, selecting and training accounting department personnel, preparing business plans, budgets, cash flow analyses, public and private debt and equity offering documents, investor and bank relations, acquisitions, and managing monthly financial reporting. Ray managed all financial matters for a start-up medical products manufacturer including its IPO, all financial matters for a rapidly growing educational publishing company including its secondary public stock offering, and also managed all financial matters for a growing print and internet publishing company from $3 million of annual revenue and heavy losses, to $18 million of annual revenue and substantial profitability, while moving the firm from venture funding to traditional institutional lending. Prior to this, Ray held mid and senior level management positions in financial planning and control for Fortune 500 companies. He began his career with Deloitte and Touche.
Ray holds an undergraduate degree in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from De Paul University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of CPAs. Ray is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant, the global designation for management accountants.
Ray's volunteer activities include Past Treasurer for Suncoast Technology Forum, Vice President and board member for the Notre Dame Club of Greater Sarasota, past board member for Gulf Coast Business Finance, past advisory board member at STAR TEC Technology Enterprise Center and past Treasurer at Community Haven for Adults and Children with Disabilities.
